I Co-Created Gaggl, a social media app available on the Apple store that ensures users never miss an opportunity to connect while avoiding awkward encounters.
I was responsible for coding and for all other aspects of the business, including marketing, corporate administration, and operations. We launched Gaggl’s MVP at WashU in April 2022 and in the three-week test period before the end of the semester, 10% of the undergraduate population was actively using the app.
We then updated Gaggl over the summer adding geofencing, push notifications, and other features in response to user feedback. We also developed a marketing strategy for relaunch at WashU in October 2022. We quickly got over 900 users and have made over 5000 matches.
